Thameslink & Wessexline 15-01-89. IMHO these are some of the finest EMUs to grace southern metals and I’m glad they are receiving a second innings. They looked much better in their mock NSE livery than the recent SW colours; in my book. Obviously their looks are enhanced with the jumper cable covers in place. 2408 passes Eastleigh.

Thameslink & Wessexline 15-01-89.Hard on the heels of 2401 was a nice little extra for the day. 156469 turns up on a Cardiff – Portsmouth service. This was my highest 156 at this point. By the way, the sidings at Eastleigh were known as Dorset and not Devonshire; well it’s next door.
