UK- E6006 - Bridgnorth 08/02/08. E6006 ( 73006 ) shunts stock at Bridgnorth ( preserved) Severn Valley Railway today, 8th February 2008, in preparation for the railway to return to working order tomorrow ( Saturday). Since the floods in June 2007 when the track was damaged at 45 seperate locations on the 18.5mile track, services have been almost zero. Tomorrow a steam service will run from Bridgnorth to Hampton Loade and return all day from 10.30am, with the full track from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster opening in another 4 weeks.

Barton Hill Depot 10-02-88. I went into Bristol this afternoon chasing 66951 that had been reported stabled on Kingsland Road. I saw three Freightliner 66s but couldn’t confirm the number. I took this photo walking back to the car. 37696 was parked up at the rear of Barton Hill Depot looking very sorry for itself.
